Save Money on BULK Lego by Shopping at GoodwillFinds

Updated: Mar 7

Jack and I have a serious problem...an addiction to Lego! What do they manufacture into those tiny plastic pieces that creates and insatiable need to buy MORE LEGO?!

I recently stumbled upon Goodwill Finds while on a quest to buy more lego. It turns out that they actually have AMAZING prices on both new sets and bulk lego pieces!

Bulk Lego:

I have been purchasing bulk Lego for a year now and hands down the best price I have found on bulk buying is from Goodwill Finds! Major brick stores around the us sell their Lego for around $10 per pound. I have found on Ebay that the price per pound is generally $8. I have spent many hours driving to thrift stores in search of affordable donated Lego, and, honestly, the time just isn't worth the savings. Goodwill's website, however, has a huge inventory from centers nationwide with the average price for Lego at $3.5 per pound! With the cost of shipping and taxes, the final amount ends up being around $5/pound. The best part is that they usually show 4-5 images of some of the items in the bulk box. You can get an idea of what you are getting versus the "blind box" you'd typically get from Facebook Marketplace, online brick resellers and ebay.

New Sets:

GoodwillFinds also has a plethora of poly bag and boxed sets of NEW Lego. Sometimes they will sell two new sets together for a deeper discount. I recently purchased 2 Lego Friends sets that I first searched ebay sold items to get an idea of what they are really worth. Turns out that I got about $60 in sets for just $36!!

Takeaway:

I just placed my first order today and am anxiously awaiting my order to arrive! I will create a follow up post to share what I thought about my haul. Happy Lego hunting!!
